Another electronic recording compilation rescued from obscurity that I think you’d really enjoy is Oksana Linde’s Aquatic and Other Worlds (South America, 1983-1989) – there’s some truly beautiful stuff on there. Thank you for your wonderful recommendations as well! Downloaded Flamboyant NonViolent over the weekend and planning to snag a vinyl copy of Light Patterns ASAP (I tend to intensely connect with most things created in 1982 as I was also created in 1982).
Wow, I'm def gonna check out Oksana Linde now as well. Hope you're enjoying Light Patterns. The David Horridge EP of his demos from around the Light Patterns era is incredible as well. Just as great as Light Patterns or Sticklebacks
Hey Adam, love the new EP, it’s really beautiful. Your taste seems pretty impeccable already so I’ll keep it brief, one album that went pretty well under the radar this year that I really enjoyed is Picturesque by an Austrian band called MOLLY, it’s kind of a post rock-y, overwhelming sort of thing that sweeps me away a bit. Their Bandcamp page describes it as somewhere between sigur ros and slowdive which makes sense. It’s very pretty and good for walks on cold nights
Thank you for your thoughtful words. I really appreciate that! Can't wait to begin sharing more music. And thank you for this recommendation, I'll certainly check it out. I've learned about so much cool music from people writing me to share recommendations, so I appreciate that 🙏
